What a weekend, that Marty Haggard blessed everyone that walked through the door. The crowds were great and the air filled with anointing that came from above. We really enjoyed Marty. Thanks to Hal Higgins for doing a follow up show, Hal was as good as ever. Mr. Bill Stafford [The smooth King] had everyon's attention with the magical touch of those 14 strings. We had 4 other guest Steelers that came by to join us, Mr Gary Jones a fine steeler from the Hammond La area. Also a suprise treat from Steve Porter, That found out about the show on the Internet. Steve is from Pennsylvania that was coming from a gulf tour duty with the military stationed in New Orleans. Steve is also great steel player. Steve Plays a D10 Kline guitar. Steve was amazed at the playing of Mr Smooth, Bill Stafford. Also my good friend Ken Amacker another Hot steel player came in to be with us. Not to say much about me, but i had fun playing some Steel and Lead Guitar behind these guy's. Thank's everyone for your encouragement and support.
Sincerely;
Roland [RJ] Buras
