One pedal pulls D's to E's and the other pedal pulls B's to C's. You can actually make other 1/2 step raises and lowers on the G strings similiar to E-9th with knees or put the first string F# for some extras.
Jr. has his guitar set to lower the first 5 strings a whole step with two pedals. This make the open tuning FCAFC.
An explaination is that there are 3 major keys we play in to coincide with the accordions tuned to C, D, and Bb. You can play open G with the C accordion, open F with the Bb, and open A with the D. The open A is achieved by placing a capo under the 2nd fret of the G tuning or holding A&B pedals on the E-9th tuning and skipping the first two strings. Hope this helps!

Cajun, or non-Cajun tuning, that is a really great looking steel. After hearing Mark Van Allen playing his Zum, I have to say that they sound great.
Best of luck on the sale.

Duncan, I really think you should take up playing the Cajun G tuning, with this guitar; you know you always wanted a Zum.

Keep It!!
Junior,
I had the pleasure of seeing you play many years ago, actually at my first steel show. I was considering purchasing your Zum, but I really wanted you to keep it. The thought of somehow profiting from anothers mis-fortune just didn`t feel right. I`m happy for you to keep your Zum.
All the best to you and yours.
