I prefer wood with just enough stain to bring out the grain but I also have a black Mullen at this time. Green is my favoite color but I have to say that my next guitar, if there is one, will be red.

I like just about every flavor guitar but it really is hard to beat a natural lacquered finish with a nice maple grain. This is a re-issued p/p I bought from the Lashleys a few years ago.

Hey Baxter, that guitar looks familiar. It is truly a beautiful guitar, red laquer, Red guitars usually don't photograph good but they sure look good. Play on brother. Larry :) :)

Great looking guitars. Here is a "poor man's lacquer" guitar - a hot rod red automotive finish. Why do you think they call it a body shop? :)
