I just got word that the steel guitar show at the Baldknobbers theater in Branson will be held this year 2005 the last Sunday in July. July 31st. Don't know who the "steelers" will be, but will post more info as soon as I get it. |

I wonder if Mike Young is still pickin around Branson?? A fine steel player, was here in Kingman. My wife worked with him some before we got married, I never had the opportunity to.

Mike Young is still in the area. He lives in Diamond Hill, AR.
I bought his 1955 Bigsby from him a few years back.
Mike is a good player, but sometimes the good players don't seem to get the jobs around here.

We have confirmed a couple of players,
Randy Beavers
Russ and Laney Hicks.
I guess that's two great players and one "GREAT SINGER".

Great players and singers!!!!! And I can't say enough good about that backup band. All you have to do is hang on . They really cook. That's one of the best shows for me , like family. |
