Lap steel BBC radio live session video

Here is a video from a BBC "South"Live" live radio session I did with my trio back in November. We (Jim Mortimore, Sam Walker and myself) played four songs on the show and I talked a bit to the host Phil Jackson - here is an edit (of footage from three cameras):

I played my Burgin baritone Weissenborn (with a capo made by Martin Gross used on the first tune, for those of you interested in lap steel capos - it's the best capo I have come across), my Lazy River Weissenborn and a 1968 Brazilian DiGiorgio nylon string guitar.

Fred, congratulations on such a great performance. I listened to this show and enjoyed it very much, but enjoyed watching it more. The band is perfect for you. I really like everything about it. Really like your CD very much, too.

You sounded terrific! Great quality video and sound on that clip.

Fred, that was top drawer! I dig the subtle Brazilian feel in part of the first tune. That you follow your own path on the instrument is continually refreshing. Isn't it time for a cover of Sleepwalk?

Finally got a chance to listen through the whole video - great job Fred!

My only complaint would be that I would have loved to hear more of the weiss in the mix..

I missed the radio show so really appreciate the vid upload.

That reverb you can really hear on your opening notes... is that just the room you're in?
If so, nice room sound!
Really cool intimate session sound, really suits the bass & cajon.
