Well, I know for sure the Georgia Gang will be there in force. From the looks of things, probably in three different wagons. Hope Charles has a big enough place to tie up that many mules !

Larry, feed them mules at the Varsity---me and Mike filled up there coming home, had enough gas to get home, with half a tank left! HIGH-TEST, TOO!!!
And for all Masons and Shriners, PLEASE don't forget that we're gonna do something in Buddy's memory at "high noon" on Sunday. Please be there if you can! Thanks a lot.

Well, if you missed this one, you missed a GREAT one, and all in tribute to Buddy Walker. Three Hall Of Fame players (John Hughey, Herby Wallace and Walter Haynes), and a whole host of regulars. Tony Prior made his Saluda debut with his band, and they kick butt! And a staff band that doesn't take a back seat to any one. On top of all that, Charles Reece has pledged to continue this fine show. I know the Georgia Gang will support him any way we can. Way to go, Charles!
See you in May!

"And oh yes, my Carter and Nashville 112 really kicked butt".

And to that statement, I second it, course every one sounded great. A show that Buddy would have been proud of. A "Hats Off" to everyone, especially the rendition of Amazing Grace that Mr. Joe Turner did,if that one did'nt get you .....well you just were'nt listening.

A great group to be associated with. The music and the fellowship provides a soft cushion for the long ride home. Those that may have had to leave early missed the driving sounds of Bill Nicholson..wow! Thanks Charlie for another great program.

Many thanks to all of you who worked so hard to make this one of the most memorable conventions I have attended in Saluda. A great show is a gross understatement...Awesome is more like it.

I can hardly wait for the May event!
