Ive heard other players say they like cowboy boots with heels for that very reason.

Lotta cowboy boots I saw growin up in ohio. pretty much as soon as you got south of cleveland you were in "the south" and it was copenhagen and cowboy boots territory.

Had that been the Scottish Steel Guitar Festival...Sarah Jory might have been the least of their worries. Do they have a Scottish steel guitar festival? Maybe Archie Nicol will "pipe" in.

Well, that picture answers one question I wondered about.
I tried playing with high heel. I did not make me sound like Sara Jory but it works very well.

I see Wanda Vick on some of the Christian shows most of the time playing fiddle. I always LOVED Wild Rose,It was Wanda,Pam Gadd,Pam Perry,Nancy Prout,Kathy Mac. Wanda was a HOT tele player. ALL these girls were supreb players as good or better than their male peers. I seem to remember Mr. Seymour put this group together,Wanda was his ex-wife. That band was HOT,HOT,HOT. YOU BETCHA,DYK?BC.

Hell, it makes me want to quit.

Or is it, start wearing a dress while I play to get people's attention away from my atrocious playing. :?

What a small world. I was born and raised in Amherst, Ohio. Left there when I turned 19. I now live in Wooster, Ohio. I lived in South Carolina for 25 years inbetween.
