I've got an older version of Cubase LE 4 [4.0.3] and I just tried installing v.4.1.3, then discovered I'd have to first install v.4.1.2.
4.1.2 install was going along fine, when it asked me to insert the original DVD to continue. Well, the only CD I have is the Lexicon Lambda install CD and Cubase came bundled with it.
So I put in the Lexicon CD and then I was asked to also point the way where HALion is, and I got as close as I could in Presets VST3 [I think]. I hit OK and all windows disappeared and nothing popped up saying what was or wasn't going on.
On this Cubase re-activation, all installs wanted to go to Program Files, but I made a Cubase folder in Users/Monsonman and sent everything there.
So the update install did not work.
I was in the process of sending this off to Cubase Support, but then thought maybe you got to go through the License Control Center again. So I did, but that also produced no results. So I figured it be quicker popping the question here, rather than going through Cubase's big rigamarole to ask a question.
Right now, too, when I open up Cubase's main page, and before doing anything with it, I try to exit it, and it like is frozen-up. I have to get rid of it via task manager. If I start a New project and then try to exit, the screen goes away OK. _________________ Chip
