The Tommy Thomsen Band, featuring Bobby Black on his new West Coast 12 string non pedal guitar, Dayna Wills (Bob's niece, a terrific singer), drummer Johhny Cuvielo (a Texas Playboy from the forties) and others will be doing a Western Swing show for two nights at the Conneticut Yankee, 100 Conneticut St in San Francisco Friday and Saturday February 18th and 19th. Shows start at 10 PM

These are all my buddies and it will be a great show, I'm sure.

Last year, I took Cuviello into the studio with Pete Mitchell and BB Morse and we cut "Texas Drummer Boy 2004," and "My Mother's Eyes." Cuvie was 89 then and played his ass off like a drummer half his age. I may put those tunes out on a CD single.

Billy, if you see Johnny Coviello tell him I said Hi. I played with Johnny back in the 60's at the Silver Dollar in San Francisco and a Saturday morning radio show at Gateway Chevrolet. Tell him Jeannie Shepherd was looking for him a few months ago. Johnny is a treasure.
