Martin DXM (SOLD)

Post by Chip Fossa »

Excellent condition. Has a K&K pickup installed. Hard shell case in good shape; interior is excellent; outer covering has a few tears - at rear bottom and headstock end.

The specs on the K&K 'Pure Western Mini Pickup' can be seen way down the bottom of the page at:

http://elderly.com/brand/PUA_other.html

Good sounding & playable guitar.

$350 + shpp (lower 48s)

Other pics are available.

Carl,

The strap hooks right onto the "jack" pin, just like the standard end-pin.

Check your PM, Carl.

UPS Shipping[2010-1-4]

Post by Chip Fossa »

Carl,

Here is the shipping estimate I got this AM: from UPS.

They told me that if I shipped the axe by just taping it up [without wrap], that I would have a hard time collecting the insurance on it.
If I were to hunt around for a box to fit the axe, and buy the needed packing materials, it would probably run me close to $40 [UPS charge to wrap] too.

There's a MA tax on the shpp materials [probably a couple of bucks] and the zip code the clerk used was a random one. He said the KC, MO area had about 74 zip codes, so the actual cost of the shipping itself is probably a bit more than the quote; especially to outlying areas.

I suppose if you were to tell me your exact area code, I could call UPS and maybe they can reconfigure it over the phone [I don't see why not, but who knows?]
