Back in my day, 50's, 60's and 70's, we musicians always looked forward to New Year's Eve because we got double pay. Usually had to play an extra two hour's too. I remember playing for $7.00 a night and making $14.00 on New Years Eve. Of course, most of us pickers didn't have full time job's so we thought we were rich. Gas 25 cent's a gal...Cig's 25 cent's a pack.....Is it the same today? Do you all get that big doub le pay tonite? Is there lot's of work out there like there used to be? Any of you making over $100 tonite. Just curious. I quit picking in the bar's about 30 years ago. Thank's, Dave Burley
