Zeses Manakas passed away Dec. 18th. Mr Manakas was the father of guitarist Van Manakas who has been a mainstay at the PSGA shows in Norwalk, Ct.
Please keep Van and his family in your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

All of Susan and my kindest thoughts and deepest sympathy go out to Van and Patience at this time. These two talented and wonderful people deserve all of this.

My condolences, too, to Van and his family. It must be especially difficult to go through this at Christmastime.

I will Jack. I never met Mr Manakas but after speaking with his family and friends I believe he was the kind of father we all should be like.

I know Van. He is a shining example of quiet and unassuming greatness. Colossal talent, dedication to his art and his family, intellect and compassion are apparent in all he does.. I am certain that the "apple" did not fall far from the tree. What finer living testament to your Dad could you express?

Deepest sympathy to you and your family Van from your friend and fan, John.

Well said, John. You've described Van perfectly. A remarkable musician and human being.
