Chanukah Dobro!

A priest, a minister and a rabbi walk into a bar. The bartender looks up and says "is this some kind of joke?"

I remixed this one from a few years back - The classic "Chanukah Oh Chanukah". Gee... a Jewish song in a minor key, how unique. Following Talmudic tradition and law I recorded it using a dobro and ukulele as the lead instruments with Caribbean steel drums coming in to wrap up the number! Enjoy!

lol are you kidding they're all in minor! lol Actually in Talmudic tradition you wouldn't be allowd to play it on an instrument in synagogue

Josh you'v egot to delve deeper than hava nagila. there's tons of hot klezmer / jewish music out there that is a dance-a-thon. you should see some of the orthodox jews dancing to that stuff. i am talking full somersaults and other crazy acrobatics!!

Very nice, Gerald! I'll have to dig out "The Jewish Fake Book" and learn a few of these tunes. These songs have very expressive melodies, mostly in minor keys. Interesting stuff! Thanks for posting your clip!
