Thanks, Hook. Maybe I just need to start a fresh post. This one seems to be getting a little long in the tooth.

I played this guitar in St. Louis. It feels and sounds great. Whoever gets this guitar will not be disappointed!

Jim, that sounds like a good idea. I'd buy this special Steel, but it's beyond my grasp. I would be willing to enter at either ticket price. I'm sure we have other members that would also be able and willing to help. I hope I'm not out of place by agreeing with the idea.
I wish you the best on this sale Mr. Douchette you most certainly have what I think is a priceless piece of country history.

Don't you all honestly think this guitar belongs in a "Glass Case" in a Country Music Museum???? Maybe if enough of us donate $1 or $2 each to Mikey, he will see that it gets in one??? Just a thought.
I will personally send $5 for that effort, is anyone else interested in doing so?

I thought this was finally sold? There was another recent Franklin thread on the forum and a poster (no relation) said they were buying it.

I just want to make this clear for everyone. I clicked the "Buy it Now" button on EBAY on this guitar. This was not bought through the forum, nor had I had any contact with Mr. Douchette through the forum on this guitar. All of my contact was with the ebay seller.
