Bigsby items, from Jerry Blanton

Post by Bent Romnes »

Jerry tells me that he would like to sell these items:
3 pedals and most of the mechanism to operate them. They consist of 1 lower and 2 raises
2 Bigsby pickup covers - aluminum castings. These parts come off of a Bigsby D8

He also has a Wright custom 8 string pickup

Call Jerry for details and prices at: 210-698-2075

I had a long chat with Jerry today concerning an emblem or decal for my Blanton. He is a fun guy to talk with and he was really interested in my guitar and what was happening with it.
Interesting thing he told me about the serial number on my guitar which is 210003.The first 3 numbers say it's a D 10, and the last number says it was the 3rd one he started using serial numbers..He looked in his records to see who it was built for but he had failed to record the first few.
I think he said 07 was built for Jimmy Day.
If anyone knows who might have been the original owner I'd really like to know..
