New to the forum ,, just got an old vintage Sho Bud Maverick that needs some parts and set up .Its a 10 stringer 3-pedal no knee pedal.The #2 pedal has been repaired and its missing at least 2 of the rods that go to the strings .I have zero info on set up ,although i have an orig manual that i got on ebay that might show me the ropes. But would prefer to send it to someone for a set up . Anyone know of someone in or near San Francisco who does work on these? I can be reaged @ 415-827-4142 Thanks Whould love to resurect this old gal. |

Hello Scott;
I would heartily recommend Jim Palenscar in Oceanside Ca. I am sure he can/will repair any thing
you want done to the Showbud & it will play very well
when he is done with it. here is a link to his steel shop. Scroll down to the bottom & you will find his contact info. he has many, many great references here on the Steel Forum. A great guy & he will treat you right!! Ron

We need to turn the TWANG up a little
It's not what you play through, it's what you play through it.
