| I have an GFI Ultra S10 set up for E9. I see a "V" lever listed on the copedant that came with it. What is a "V" Lever? |

It is either vertical or one of those new fangled Virtual pedals.
The Vertical knee lever is usually a B to Bb lever.
The Virtual pedal does not exist in a physical sense, but it is there and will do anything you want it to do. Mine turns on and off the hallway lamp. It is sort of like the Clapper of knee levers. |

On my ULTRA I didn't go with the norm. I changed mine to raise the "B" (5th string) to "D". I have my reasons and I use it a lot.

If you have it (not all do) it usually is in between your lkl and lkr. Lift your knee to activate it. Drops string 5 1/2 on my gfi, very rarely use it as sliding down a fret and pushing b does the same thing with more cry to it.

Chris,
I turn the virtual lamp on in my virtual hallway virtually. As to the B to D raise, when I got my guitar it had the normal B to Bb on it but I don't have the strength to raise my leg to use the vertical for that movement. I had to use leverage and I didn't want to take my foot off the pedals ( A&B). I use the A pedal for the leverage I need so I really raise the B a 1/2 tone after the normal B to C# raise. Yes I can get a 7th. I also use it to make a movement to sound like I'm lowering my 6th a half step by pressing the A&B pedals, ease off the B pedal and then drop down a fret and using the V.
I hope this explanation is understandable, If not, think virtually.
