I'm honored to be working with amazing singer-songwriter Kenneth Pattengale on a couple of Los Angeles dates this week.

First up, though, we appear on local but world-renowned public radio station KCRW, on the Chris Douridas show, this Saturday, Dec. 5, from 1:30 until 2:00. The set is really good, and very influential music tastemaker Douridas clearly digs Kenneth's music.

So you local pickers, check it out. But if for any reason you miss it, just type in "Kenneth Pattengale" in the station's search field (kcrw.com) and the link will pop up, just click to watch. In fact, the footage is already up. Time shift magic.

Our next live show is in Ventura, at Zoey's, on Wed., 12/9. We go on at 8 pm, we're the only band of the night, cover's only $5, and you get a free copy of Kenneth's new CD, "Speak!" Should be a great, relaxed evening of music.

Last show for the year is the next day, Thurs., 12/10, at the Hotel Café in Hollywood. We go on at 11, cover's $10, same free CD offer, and because we're the last band of the night, we can stretch out, do all songs on the set list, and kick out the jams.

Here's a couple of fact-filled links. Hope to see y'all!

All best,
Mr. Twang

Hey John,
I heard some of you guys playing on KCRW today. It sounded pretty cool. Nice material for sure, nice steel! The fiddle sounded cool with the steel. That's excellent to get on that show, great exposure and real L.A. cool for sure. Sounds like a cool and fun gig.

Don't I wish!

It's getting cold, I'll probably wear big boy pants for the gigs this week.
