Are the versions of certain songs in this book different from the versions of the same songs that have appeared in your earlier books, e.g., Steel Guitar Rag, San Antonio Rose, etc.?

John
Those 2 songs happen to be the same arrangements.
I felt no need to do them over as many players don't have them anyway.
What is different in this collection is I play both songs so you can hear them as they appear on the tabs.
Don

Edited to make ammends to John.

You're incorrect in your assumption and - frankly - I take a little offense at the insinuation that I would pirate the records and books. I recommend avoiding such assumptions.

I don't own any of your books - yet - in any form, original or copies.

I was asking because I was contemplating buying 3 of your books at once to take advantage of the discount and I didn't want to spend the extra money if I was getting the same songs in multiple books. Also, it would help me decide which 3 I wanted to buy to avoid duplication of songs.

I do strongly apoligize for my assumption and so sorry that I misunderstood your question.

There is so much of this going on I wrongly accused you.
Again I'm sorry.

For my error, if you still are interested in my material I will try and make it up to you by offering you the 3 package deal for $5 less than what I am asking on my web site.

Don,

Thanks, and absolutely no worries. And I hope my tone in my post wasn't offensive to you. There is definitely a lot of pirating going on these days, but I try not to be a part of it, especially here where there's such a limited audience for this specialized material. Maybe I've had too much coffee today and not enough sustenance -- I've got the caffeine jitters.

I am still interested in your material, and I certainly wasn't trying to back-door my way into some discount. However, I do appreciate it and I'll take ya up on it. Winking Now all I have to do is decide which 3 books I want. I know I definitely want the B.Wills stuff, obviously, and prob. the "30 licks, fills, and intros" one, too. I just need to decide which one of your first 5 volumes I want. I'll PM you or email you.

No problem at all.
I was told many years ago not to assume anything.
I must have forgotten that now that I am 40 years older.
