I actually sat right here at the computer and cried out loud at your amazing responses to my request.
Leonard is really all that you have expressed.
To celebrate the fact that God has allowed us to be so fortunate as to still have him on this earth, to share, is a wonderous blessing and a time we cannot let pass without a celebration.
He's a wonderful christian man and just full of the joy of the Lord. Who could ask for more in any relationship?
Just for the record. Since L T has been in Michigan I have not mowed my own lawn, raked another leaf, planted any flowers, landscaped the area around my home, etc. the list goes on. He even does the dishes if he has dinner here and just try to stop him!!
Today he is painting the christmas play sets at our church. He seems to be everywhere helping someone.
He's in my Hall Of Fame. Evelyn
[This message was edited by Evelyn Whitney on 07 December 2004 at 11:43 AM.]

Leonard T. Zinn is truly without a doubt the kindest, gentlest, most loving person I have ever met. I don’t know anyone who loves life and people more. It is a privilege for me to know him and be able to wish him a Happy 80th Birthday. Leonard...If I ever grow up I wanna be just like you. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

HAPPY 80th Mr. T for TROUBLE Zinn!
Back in the early 50's I was tweaking across the radio dial in Arlington Mass' when I heard a tuning arpeggiated, ..that stopped me. The anouncer then said "???? presents the 101 Ranch Boys", ..I thought "wow, what a big band!". Then he announced the band members names as they joined in with their instruments.

The song that you played as an opening steel solo was Moon Over Miami. Your name registered, but I can't remember any of the others. Next week I searched you out again, ..same type program intro and format; this time your solo was Poincianna. Unforgettable tone and excecution. Changed my way of thinking about the steel guitar.

Never forgot the name, or the tunes you played. Finally met you at the International in the 90's.

Happy Birthday TROUBLE!

Happy Birthday L.T. Don't look back, I'm gaining on you. I'll be 76 God willing, the 14th. of this Month. Like you, I'm not willing to put my guitar in the case. As long as I can hold a bar I will keep trying to figure this thing out!!! God Bless------

Leonard, I met you at the Hawaiian Steel Gutiar convention this year in Joliet Illinois. It was on Thursday night, I was the guy with the digital camera. I really enjoyed our conversation. My nephew's birthday is also December 27. Have a Happy Birthday! Bob Watson

Friend Leonard
Thank you so much for the nice card remembering Marilyn. It meant a lot to me and
I will save it along with the others and always remember you.

If anyone deserves to be inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall Of Fame,I couldnt think of anyone more deserving of that honor than you.

You have honored our little world of Steel Players over the years and now it time for our world to honor and pay you back for all you have meant to all of us.

Merry Christmas dear friend
