I just wanted to let everyone know that I am now the proud owner of a red and gold GFI Ultra D-10! This guitar is incredible! It's got eight pedals and six knee levers with GFI II pickups. I bought it from Steel Guitar Nashville this weekend and it is a wonderful guitar! Brett, Emmons S-10, Morrell lapsteel, GFI Ultra D-10

Congratulations Breet on your new steel. Now I know you are in steel heaven for sure. Looks like you bought your steel from Bobbe which is not a bad deal either. I look forward to meeting you and hearing you play. Hope you can make the Texas show in March.

Well Brett- looks like you've got it bad now- the dreaded SAS- I'm so sorry- the "Steel Acquiring Syndrome" is incurable and there is very little hope that without an intervention you'll ever get back to only one steel again- welcome to the fraternity- we are- and need- a great support group- formed totally out of desperation~~

Way to go Brett! Just got a new steel myself this week- It's great how a new axe will spark off some woodshedding and new directions. Have fun with C6!

I played that very guitar at Bobbe's about 2 weeks ago. That's a nice one. Enjoy.

Bret,
GFI are great guitars, I used to have a S-10. I'm sure you will enjoy it and Bobbe Seymour always give a great deal to his fellow steelers! Be sure and let us all know how you like it!

Congrats Brett. Nothing like a new guitar, (hopefully with some extra changes) to inspire your playing to grow. Keep up the good work.
