Lots of cool shots! What a blast from the past!

I think they're from 1979, though... ;-)
My best,
Ernie

Wow! I can't believe how young everyone looked....well I guess it's because they were. Me too! Note how many of the guys are playing in athletic shoes. They still do today.

Sadly, many of them are no longer with us.

I was there in '79, but not '78 I don't think. According to some old ISGC programs and SG magazine convention notes, '79 was the first year for Duke Dumas to play the convention.

I remember the Speedy/Bobby thing, but of course they did it more than once.

Blake Fougerousse commonly accompanied Zane on convention sets in those years.

I believe, again from the program book, that photo #30 is C.T. Allen. Although I can't say I remember anything about him.

No matter the year, they're great shots that bring back a lot of fab memories of getting to meet and hear my heroes.

HI JERRY,

C.T. ALLEN is now, for what ever reason, Forumite Albert Svenddal, formerly from Minnesota. :D

Yep, photo # 30 was me under the stage name of C.T. Allen. I was playing an Erickson 12 string with 5 and 5. All I remember is how nervous I was, my knees were knocking so bad, the knee levers were throwing me out of tune. Those glasses were my favorite ones back then. Wow, to be that young again and know the things I know now. Thanks for posting.
