My good friend and former bandmate, Jimmy Cameron, from Olivia, N. C., was playing bass. Jimmy replaced Jack Cooke , who had been with Ralph for years and retired recently. I thought Ralph and the boys were in good form. Jimmy tells me the show was taped last Monday.

This is not intended to be viewed for it's political content, but since this thread is about Ralph Stanley, I thought it would be worth posting.
Eric C. Conn is an attorney in Pikeville, KY that's trying to get appointed to the Social Security Commission.
Obama Girl is a professional model from New York.
The Dancer is an icon from the E-KY, WV area.
Form your own opinion, I actually find it humorous  but a little uncomfortable, corny, rednecky, to the bluegrass community.  FYI - Ralph Stanley's music is considered mountain music, more than it is bluegrass. Ralph is shown playing clawhammer style banjo which is definately not bluegrass.
