I have never seen the copedant for an extended E9 ,but that looks like it would be more manageable than a universal tuning for someone accustomed to a D-10 looking to change. In any event that is a first class rig. 8)

Skip, thanks for the kind words man, I've put a lots of thoughts into it as you can see, I'm a knee lever freak, theres changes that you could use as an A6, theres a BooWa knee on it also, very helpful.
Skip, I also have a double 10 Zum with 9 pedals & 10 knees on it,7 knee levers that are about the same setup as the 12. Two rigs alike. Like to sell one. Thanks man for the concern. Jack

Zum

Post by Ernest Cawby »

Joe Turner plays a simular rig, and if you have heard him you know great music can be played on this setup.
I had this guitar at my house 2 years ago and played it in my practice room. It plays great and sounds like a zum should, it was just more guitar than I could play, I just wanted to try it out before Albert Johnson set it up as it is now. Those that know Alberts work, knows it is set up just right.

Very intriguing and tempting. I already have 2 Mullen, a single and a double, and a 1 neck with pad Fessenden. If I had less steels I would consider this one. Brian

http://www.zumsteel.net/ and click on serial numbers.

It has the older style pedals on it which were changed about 2000-ish !

Answer to your question.
The additional graphic was my nick name (Old Gray Fox)beside it is a picture of a Fox. This can be easily removed with water.

I know for a fact this guitar has mostly been in storage ever since I have known Jack because as everyone knows he plays his other rig at all the shows. This guitar was changed over by no other than Albert Johnson and he knows what he is doing when work on steels.
I have played this one and it works.
