Here's a nice little duet from our pal Chuck.

Attached is a new tune for me, an arrangement of Unchain My Heart. I listened to the Ray Charles and Joe Cocker versions and decided to record a duet with the MSA Classic and the Ricky Frypan. I'm off to Connecticut for PSGA's annual show, one of my favorites. http://www.psga.org/index.html I love being back on the East Coast this time of the year.

Chuck,

That was one great recording, loved the several tonal colors and the mix! Bravo, you've raised the bar on steel guitar technique!!! Smile

Really like the mix, Chuck, how easy/difficult was it to achieve the blend?

Thanks for sharing,

Josh

Thanks for the nice comments, guys. I worked up the melody on the Frypan, but I found it easier to play the harmonies on the E9th neck of my MSA pedal steel. Glad you like the arrangement. By the way, I played this tune at the PSGA show with my friend, Jim Stahlhut, who played a harmony part on the guitar.

Chuck,

Hey just wanted to say this song sounds good in your recording here....but it sounded even better with you and Jim playing it LIVE in Norwalk, CT on Saturday!

Really enjoyed the lap steel work on Statesboro Blues too and it was great meeting you.

Thanks again,

Josh
