Had the album(lp) for at least 10 years, and never gave it a good listen till last saturday.WOW! To me the band sounds too produced and corny, but what excellent playing. J.D burns it up kinda disco country, and Sneaky Pete tears it up with some fast pickin' like I love. Al Perkins lets her rip, and Ole' Brumley puts a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye. Jr. Rhodes is on it too. Check it out.

Got it. Love it. Listen to it all the time. I think it's great steel guitar music. Should be in every steel player's collection. Doesn't sound dated or overproduced to me. 
Stole a few songs off it for steel club performances.
Tom's Selah, and Al's Atrium, FI. Hardly anyone there knows them but I still enjoy playing them anyway. |

Does the title refer to, that all of them came from the west coast? |

I think Sneaky Pete's cuts on this album are his best work laid to wax.
J.D. is also in stellar form on here, as is Al Perkins.
I didn't much care for Brumley's or Red's contributions, though. |

| I transferred the vinyl to cd a few years back. I just listened to it again. There is some good stuff for sure. I do like Brumley's Arrowhead. |
