I watched Kenny Chessney on the today show this morning in pain. I could not beleave that beautiful Steel sitting in back of I beleave the bass player with no Steel player behind it on the first song. Then on the second song the Steel player was there but I only heard it at the last two or three notes. Why would they let a beautiful Steel like that sit there and go to waist.Allen Jackson and Vince Gill let the steel be heard and you appreciate the music they play better.

Maybe they are becoming intimidated by the popularity of the "Robert Randolph" style and aren't confident enough to realize that traditional steel can hold it's own.

Les Paul guitars with fuzz units. Plastic music. Not country.
