Well the jam was better than one could have imagine. We had 123 people; 12 steel player's and great back up player's & singer's. We started the show off with Tootie Serice from Sulphur, LA doing the set with the Medicare Playboys. Then Les Milam from Deville, LA and the always great-sounding Buck Grantham from Denham Springs, LA. Next, the old man Pee Wee Whitewing from Sunset, LA followed by Mr. Ora Oubre from Port Arthur, TX. Then Mr. Roy Thomas from Maurice, LA, Carlue Bordelon from Woodworth, LA, Jimmie Lewis from Harrisonburg, LA, and Gerald Holloway from Midway, LA. Finally, guess what? They even let me play! We had a wonderful time and we appreciate the people who came out and support us. And not to forget, Mr. Huey Buxton from Vidor, TX on the fiddle. Thanks to the Steel Guitar Forum for this great forum. By the way Bob, a donation is on the way! Thanks to everyone! -Charlie
P.S. A big thanks to Sam Moore and Ronnie Cooper for all their help. Couldn't done it without you!

We all had a great time !!!!! all kinds of music ,, Cajun, Western Swing ,classic country. If you sit there a while you would for sure hear something you liked . And the people that cooked the food did a great job,and it was free to us I might add. The building was very clean, the rest rooms were spotless. That says a lot for the people who put on that show.. I am very proud to have been a part of it . Buck & Mitzi Grantham

Mr. Buck i thank you for coming to the show, people are calling wanting to do ANOTHER show, your playing was as usual GREAT,and that tone people kill for that sound.ha...Gonna try Gulfport but i don't know,i had to have emergency surgery on my backside. I had a brown recluse spider bite that happened last week sometime. That's why I was hurting so bad Sunday. Thanks again and see you and Ms. Mitzi soon, I hope. Charlie

As soon as I walked in and heard Tootie playing In knew I was in the right place. It was well organized, people were very friendly, food was delicious the playing was great, of course Buck Grantham was wonderful, and your playing I loved, Charlie. Can't wait for the next one. I plan on making Gulfport and hope to hear you there. Hope the surgery took care of every thing for you.
