I'm playing at the show Sunday and one of the songs is a song I've always wanted to learn on steel called "Statue Of A Fool" and the next one is a Bob Wills tune. Brett, Emmons S-10, Morrell lapsteel

Go ahead and gas up the car, (or feed the mules in our case!), it's almost time to go. Gonna be a good 'un.

Glad to see you guys are misbehaving as usual. I feel like a desserter, but my ole Ford is about to bite the dust and I'm afraid to get on the road, So I can't make this one.

Just to set the record srraight, I think Larry Moore is a heck of a nice guy, a real good steel player, and I've never considered him to be anything but a good friend.
Not like the guy who lives in Charlotte.

One of the most wonderful weekends I've ever had with my clothes on! This show was wall to wall steel players, and I mean GOOD steel players! Brett Day was a great suprise, played well too!
Buddy Walker's hospitality was beyond belief, Just a wonderful week end.

And what a treat it was to have Bobbe and Doug side by side, swappinig ideas and leaving us all shaking our heads in disbelief! Someone should give Bobbe an extra buck or two on their next purchase so he can afford some finger picks.

This is always a fun show. Thanks Buddy for your hard work. Great players, including fantastic back players. It was fun to pull out the OLD Multi Chord with strings that were as old as some of the players!
