Greg, I really appreciate it. I had a blast the night before with that beer buzz going. Lots of comical things happening while trying to play. It wasn't until the following morning that I was able to get all the way through the song.
Micky, your comments on my technique have really boosted my confidence level that it's starting to come back to me ... and makes me want to play a lot more. The funniest thing is that when I chose to play "Sweet Memories", I decided that I'd just be myself on it and steer away from John's style, but there's something about that song ... you just can't help getting a little "Hughey-fied" when playing it.
