"Stardust" - Dave Wren

Post by David Wren »

Thanks to Charles Tilley and the ETSGA for posting my verison of "Stardust" on their website.

This is a track off The Stardust Cowboy's new CD, "Riding Back To You", recorded live-in-the-studio. The amp I am using is my Nashville 112 head, with a 15" Weber "Michigan" speaker (in a seperate cab).

Hope ya'll like it :)

Thank you Joachim!

I am very very lucky to work with this group of talented musicians (and the best part is many have been close friends of mine for the last 20-30 years :) )

So glad you liked it!

Thanks so much guys. Paul, not sure if I can make the Western Swing dance in Nov., but for sure I'll be at the next one, first Sunday in Dec., as my old friend, steel guitar legend Bobby Black will be playing. Looking forward to hearing you and your band too, I've heard such good things!!!

Gary, thanks so much, and yes... I am absolutely astonished by the sound quality of my Weber 15" "Michigan" speaker... how it gets that full sound, and only weighs 12 lbs???? Great folks to deal with too.

David and Ferdinando, both of these are really nice playing. Stardust is one of my favorite songs of all time. I always thought the intro was just as beautiful as the rest of the song and I'm glad you included it. Larry
