Lap Steel Tab has a special place

Post by basilh »

Thanks to Ricky Davis, he's created an "Open Sticky" where you will be able to post and find exclusively Lap steel tab..

I am very glad to see non-pedal tab in its own spot. Thanks to Basil and Ricky for making it happen. Check out this thread from 2005.

This is good news! Baz, I followed your lead and posted links to all of my non-pedal tab in the new "sticky" thread in the Tablature section. Great idea!

Excellent work, Basil! This was a very fruitful endeavor, I've put up my contributions at the "sticky" as well, with updates to come.

Here's the link to the sticky for posterity:

Now we need a "Steel Without Pedals" *sticky* link to the non-pedal *sticky* in the Tablature section. Then it will all become clear. ;-)

Wow, that's great - I never even bothered with the TAB section of the forum, because it was too hard to filter out the few lap steel tabs from the numerous PSG tabs - this is going to help a lot!

Doug Beaumier exhorts,
Basil, You are hereby forgiven for all prior disturbances!
Basil, now that you have atoned for all your past sins and have been forgiven, you are now ready to start a new Steel Guitar Forum life. Now you must stop your sinning and experience the freedom that comes in this big step you have taken. ;-) ;-)

Thanks for being the catalyst for getting this Non-Pedal Tab section going. 8) 8)

Aloha, :)

I think now that my peers have seen fit (even taking my usual demeanour into consideration) to humble me somewhat, the very least I can do in reciprocation is to desist from my normal modus operandi and (apparently arrogant) standpoint, and cease my sinful ways and become "born again" hopefully without being boring..

So I say Click HERE

For those of us with LINK replies in the new sticky... we will have to put our New tablatures in the general Tablature section. That's the only way our Links will work. The Links go to separate threads for each song (each tablature).

New replies in the sticky get added to that thread and eventually the sticky will have several pages of tablature, and we'll be scrolling through the pages to see what's there. So I'll be posting my new non-pedal stuff in the Tablature section, and in the sticky section.

...so this is what goes on at the ESGHoF meetings. :whoa:
Do they hold everyone upside-down out of the window, or is it reserved for people who play bum notes ?
