Looks like it's built into the guitar and must have a floor pedal hooked up to operate it. Sort of like the old MSA Red Baron's.

Yes Jack it goes to a floor pedal.
The MSA was gear driven, whereas this one is direct.
I used a pot that is a short through (1/4 turn on to off) I found in Germany.
