Here's a link to Mike's Swingin' West site with a complete selection of all the music he's using on the program. It includes a special tribute to the late Curly Chalker who would have been 73 years old today (his birthday). http://www.swinginwest.com/shows/show_102204.htm

Bob-I just read the notice, so missed it all.

Thanks for letting us know anyway, I am sure a lot of players enjoyed it.

And Thanks for all you are doing and have done to promote the Pedal Steel Guitar. We need all the help we can get!......al

Hi Al! Sorry you missed the Swingin' West program. Mike Gross always does a terrific job on the radio (more than 20 years of broadcasting Swingin' West) and he ALWAYS features the steel guitar on each program.

I should mention that Mike is on the air/internet every Friday from 1 until 4 pm Eastern Time with streaming audio simulcast on the WVOF web site (http://www.wvof.org). The neat thing about WVOF-FM is that it's audience includes a major portion of heavily populated suburban Connecticut, just east of NY City. BTW, WVOF stands for Voice of Fairfield University.

Mike is the M.C. at our annual PSGA Steel Celebration and he is an expert when it comes to facts about steel guitarists. He doesn't play the steel but he's dedicated to sharing his knowledge and love of the instrument with his listening audience. Thanks Al, for all your kind words and support of the PSGA and steel guitar over the years.

Sorry I missed the program too. I saw the play list and there was a song("I Didn't Realize")from our brand new CD, "Traditionally Yours". It was a pleasant supprise.

Hi Roger. Good to hear from you. Sorry you missed the show, but knowing Mike, he'll probably play other cuts from your album on future shows. If the material fits his format he plays it. Good luck with the album.
