My bid is still good, although I'm sure it will go higher before were done.

Hello Curt,
I have a question for you. I'm not bidding just yet
Are you related to Phil Jarvis the very fine Bass player from Des Moines?
A nice guy whom I worked with Fridays and Saturdays a few years ago at the old Terrace Inn with Karen Berka?
Love to hear from Phil and hope he is doing really well.
Thanks.
Loren

Estimate
Since this guitar is going to need a thorough going over according to Kevin, what type of money are we talking about to get it playing right, and maybe how much for a complete re-build and refin. which is the way I would go if I were to win. If you don't wish to post it, some estimates by PM are welcome.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hey Pete, if you win can I buy your old ZB...y'know, old #9? You probably don't need two ZBs, right? Let me know what you think, I'll send b0b a really nice donation.
Have a nice night everybody.

Hi Guys, This is the agreed time to close. Thank you Bob Hamilton for your bid of 650 . Please contact me through my e-mail pedalsteel1@peoplepc.com and we will get ZB to you. Thanks to Kevin and Gregg and Bob for helping us out with putting a value on the Guitar and sharing some knowledge with us. Thanks to the Forum and it's members for giving us a place to be heard.

And thank to you Curt. That was a very generous gift you made to our community. I hope that Bob H. enjoys the ZB, and from my communications I've had with Bob, I'm sure that he will. He's one of the good guys.

I'm Happy for you Bob. I have had to tell myself over and over "I don't Need another project! I don't need another project! I really don't need another project". If I had thought there was any way it would have gone this low, I'd have bid higher. I may have only made you pay more if I had.
Take some after pics for us when you get it done next week! Just kidding about the next week part. I hope you live long enough to finish this project. My pile is getting large enough I'm wondering how many of mine I'll finish.
Sorry for rambling, I'm just trying to console myself. I really did not need another ZB project.

Thanks Duncan and Bobby, I was really just trying to get a little more money for B0B, but heck, I'll surely take it for that amount. This will make 5 ZBs for me, anyone in the market for one that's finished? I need to free up some space for #1062. I will post pics of the guitar during the process, which I will probably not start until #1060 is done.
