Edit Real Drums

What is the best way to edit real drums and do it in laymens terms. I haven't found an easy explanation on how to do it or just to understand it. Got any ideas?

Hey guys and gals am I the only one that wants to tweak the real drums? There has to be a simple way to do it.

Depends on what and how you want to tweak them. Real Band or a DAW would be the easiest, but again they are audio files not midi, so what you want to do may or may not be possible.

A little more info might go a long way toward a resolution.

Thanks Robert for your reply. BNB gives you the option to edit but they don't break it down describing the weight # and what that weight # refers to. I'm thinking that particular section may refer to midi drums editing. I found real drums section and it appears that I may have to make my own style to have drum fills and endings the way I would like them, when I can stop long enough to figure it out. If you have any ideas feel free to express them.

As far as I can tell Mikey, you are correct. Midi is much more editable. You can of course make your drum fills manually in midi, or import drum midi tracks or partial drum tracks from midi files into Real Band.

Then convert the new drum track that you have created into an audio file, and add effects etc.

Lots of ways to go.
