Had a great day of pickin at Bill and Betty Jobes Jam yesterday. Some in attendence were Rob Parker, David Wright, Fred Justice, Jerry Foster, Roger Hurst, Jerry Thurmond, and so many more.I especially ejoyed Marvin Bridimier on fiddle. I went to school with Marvins kids ad have always enjoyed his fiddle playing. Thanks to all the backup musicians and singers.Larry, Ronnie, John, Mark, and Glen, all of you did great. The turnout of spectators was awesome!(We even sold a couple of CDs!!) Bill and Betty are great hosts and I am sorry I have missed the last couple of years. They are two of my oldest and dearest friends. See you all next year!!! (Of course some of you I'll see in Baxter next week!!)

I had a great time at Bill & Betty's, Scott you played superb along with Fred Justice. Just want to mention how great Fred's guitars sound, I see why he calls them " The Judge ". I think there was Eight Steel player, along with some other great guitar an bass players an many singers, with wonderful weather. I missed Mike Mcgee but he was busy in Nashville.

It was my pleasure to be invited back this year to this one of a kind steel guitar jam, thank you Bill & Betty Jobes for all you do for steel guitar.

It was great to see old friends again and jam all day with them. For many folks, they had not seen my new steel guitars, the "Justice" and a special thank you to Mr. Joe Libby from Climax Springs Mo. who went home with a new Justice SD-10, thanks you Joe.

Thank you again Bill and Betty Jobes for a great weekend. See yoa all in Baxter Springs this weekend.

Sorry to be late with this..
The Racket Jam was as always, a super show..much good music, and good food. So all who attended had their 'musical' stomach filled, as well as their 'food' stomach filled.
Lots of great musicians were in attendance, as well as some of the most loyal fans anywhere..we all had, as Mr Scotty proclaimed,..a "hoot"..
It was my 21st jam..so why was I not surprised ??? Thank you Mr Bill and Miss Betty, and all your helpers..for the invite, and the hospitality, and a great time..
RP...'come on in'...
