These days I'm using Andy's picks exclusively. For those not familiar with them, he coats the part that goes around your finger, but not the blades, with something that prevents them from slipping off.

I'm very pleased with them, and recommend them highly.

Thanks for the post, Howard and Mike. Hal Higgins, here in Denham uses them. And I have heard nothing but good. I have never seen them. before. Andy I may be sending you some money for a set. Do you have them in .018 red?
