We had a run down to the historic gold mining town of Coolgardie yesterday ("Back to Coolgardie" celebrations.

I dusted off 6 of the bikes, and recruited some mates to ride them.

This is the BMW that I built for shows last year, have ridden very little because of my accident with my "hand-in-table saw" show.
This is a '85 4 cyl. 200 H.P. super charged flawless bike, stunning show paint, Mako shark skin covered seat trimmed in Sting Ray. Extended front fork, added tilt 8 degrees, Tons of other mods, I have had it to 166 Mph with much more throttle to go, the girl? Can't remember,,,,,,,,,

This BMW of mine is a pure custom with stock rebuilt engine, stock except for the boost from the super charger.

The Cafe look and performance was time spent to make a 100% dependable, perfect performer with time I didn't have, spending money I didn't have, for good reasons I don't have.

My BMW Custom just took first place in the US CUSTOMS show in Chicago Il.
It seems to have warmed the cold hard hearts of the judges in the best way possible. It won me a free trophy that over all only cost me $48.5600.00.
What will a guy do for a trophy.

I just found out that Obama is going into the SGHOF next year.

I love this! I have a 1973 BMW R60/5. I bought it in 1992 for 400 bucks, and it looked like it was pulled out of a lake. Been to swap meets and got it going again. It's the best bike I've ever had. Used to have BSA's. They vibrated so much my crotch would go numb. This bike is my first with electric starter and turn signals. It's a beautiful thing! About the gas mileage, I ride it to work every day I can, about 2 miles. When it runs out of gas, I think there must be something wrong with it, then I put it in reserve and all is OK. I love the reference to the PP of motorcycles, since I have a 1968 D10 PP.

Upright Bass and All other equipment In The Trailer, Bobbe. Our Helmets Double as our on stage monitors and provide protection on those chicken wire bandstands.
We have 2 engines, for trailer towing.

For those who still have hair, They don't have to comb it.

Sold this one last summer. Gentleman that bought it rode it to Denver, Colorado and back. Now I'm riding a 97 Yamaha Virago 1100. Been falling off them for over forty years now.
