Thanks Curt & John, I'd like to remind everyone that this is a free convention and the way that we get our revenue is by sponsors that we put in our programs. If anyone wants an ad, the cost of them are $25.00=1/3 page, $35.00=1/2 page and $50.00 for a full page ad. You can e-mail me your card or ad and I'll be sure to include it in our programs. Make the checks out to "KSGA". Thanks and if anyone has questions, be sure and e-mail me. Ray |

I would like to add that it looks like another excellent line-up of pickers. Ray is one of the most cordial people I know. He always has a kind word and works tirelessly for the steel guitar community. The back-up band is great as well. Danny is one of my favorite guitar pickers and I just love to hear John play that fiddle. I would imagine that Larry could be coaxed into singing a few as well as play bass. It looks as though everyone should be in for an excellent time.

Well Patrick, from the famous words of Bob Barker, "Come on Down". Been wanting to meet you and what better place than a convention. I almost have the line-up finished and it looks like we're going to have about 36 steelers. We're still needing vendors, so if anyone have something for sale, we don't charge anything for a table. Also, we could use some more sponsors as its pretty expensive to put one of these on. Some of the best playing in the state of Kansas is about to happen so keep in touch! Ray |

Hi Ray, I'm looking forward to being at your show for the first time. It looks like I know quite a few of your guest players and they are all great musicians. I'll bring a few things from the shop and have a brand new MSA Millennium guitar on display. See you there! |

Bumping this up! There's about 15 rooms still available at the Baxter Inn4Less. 1-866-856-9820 and mention the KSGA. Also, the RV parking will be available at the city park for $5.00 a night. It's located on the east end of town next to Spring River. I'll be posting the line-up in a few days. Just waiting on a couple of verifications from players. Ray (KSGA) |

Larry, so sorry that you had to cancel out. We're gonna miss you my friend! Luckily, we've got Bob Dell to fill your shoes and I know he's the person that can do it. Have a good trip and we'll see you down the line. Ray |

Well it looks like we're going to have Sausage, Biscuits & Gravy both mornings from 7:00-10:00 put on by the Lions Club. Its only three(3) dollars and boy you talk about someone who knows how to make biscuits & Gravy, Lee Ogle's father-in-law, Charlie Button will be the cook. I don't know which I like better, playing steel or eating biscuits & gravy. Man!!! Tough decision. Thats only at the KSGA Convention! If you don't make it, To Bad!! If you can make it, I'll save you a seat. Ray [This message was edited by ray qualls on 18 September 2004 at 06:46 PM.] |

Let's get this staight. My father in law's name is Charlie Button. He's the best father in law I've ever had. That's why I've been married to his baby girl for thirty years. Plus he is about the best cook there is, he's been cooking for his Boy Scouts for about forty years. Good music, good food, good people, man it don't get no better! We'll get those tabletop geetars what's got pedals on em and those hangy down things all fired up and have sum fun.
