Bobbe, I still wear my maroon "Steel Guitar Nashville" jacket with pride! Ya know, the one with no label?

I don't even have a Maroon Steel Guitar Nashville jacket left. Haven't seen one in years!
I'd love to know who has some '57 to 65 Sho-Buds collected out there in the world.
Love those guitars! Talk about soul! Just like the Bigsbys but with a lot more variation, and numbers.

If I'd have known he was going to wear it on this cover, I would not have charged him retail!

The fretboards are cast aluminum.
The wood looks plain because the finish is missing from the front apron. The birdseye is actually very nice.
It has been confirmed that Buddy Greco did not own this guitar.

So did any body here win this thing? Did the seller have to pay Bobbe, and the forum a commission? I doubt it would have went anywhere near that price, without Bobbe's commentary.
