For whoever might be curious,I'm the guy whose name popped up at the end of Sonny Miller's post when he sold his LDG.

Needless to say, I'm very glad to be back in the game, now with what has long been a "Holy Grail" guitar. Back in my late 70's MSA Semi-Classic days, I tried one at Jeff Newman's workshop, and I knew this was the one.I wonder how long I'll just sit and look at it before I actually play it!

So, there it is--mystery solved. I'm looking forward to learning from both it and from all of you fine gents and ladies I've been eavesdropping on for quite some time.

Glad to be here!

James

Congradulations on your "new" LDG. I am a new member too. I also own a LDG that I bought new in 1978 and to me it is a great guitar. I've tried several other guitars but that old LDG seems to fit me the best, not to mention they are so good to look at.

Good luck with your guitar and a welcome to the forum from a new member.
