Mike is definitely one of my new favorite players too. I briefly spent some time with him at the Branson show this year. He's one heck of a nice guy, and a very soulful PSG man...

I've spent some real quality time with Mike in the ISGCC and he's always been there for me if I had a question or needed some instruction on the PSG. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer person or more talented musician. I'll be in Nashville to cheer him on and try and steal a few more of his licks!

YAY MIKIE! LOVE YA MAN! lol

I had the honor of meeting and hearing Mike at the Marshfield MO jam. Great player and a great guy. It's an honor to have him on the show.

Rudy I'm glad that you will be with us also. You are also a player not to be missed, you play great.

Oh my, guys... this thread is very humbling. The best I can do is give my sincere thanks to my friends on this thread for the kind words and then try to play a note or two correctly next week.

My wish is that forum members will make the effort to attend and support the efforts of the NTSGA and the hard work of Jan Jones and Cookie. Come up and say hi. I will be easy to spot... I will be the tiny, tiny fish in an enormously wonderful pond!

Fred, you know I luv ya, but I can't afford to keep paying you for these posts!

I first heard Mike back in the 70s when we were all a bunch younger. He was playing with Stan Hitchcock at his theater in Branson. I was amaized by his playing then. Nuf said.
