Hello Everyone:

I know that this post is not steel related, but I thought I would let anyone interested that the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation will be conducting Huey Helicopter Rides on the 10th and 17th of October.

The rides on Saturday, 10 October will be held at the Clayton County Airport which is adjacent to the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia. The 189th Assault Helicopter Company is holding their reunion in Atlanta from 8 to 11 October and the AAHF was asked about conducting Huey Rides. The following Saturday, 17 October the AAHF will be conducting Huey Rides at Aidan Episcopal Church in Alpharetta, Ga as part of their fall festival.

If you have never ridden in a helicopter and your schedule permits don't miss the opportunity to come fly with the veterans and aircraft that made history.

Red and Malcolm, I can tell you from experience that riding in a Huey is a lot of fun. I am one of the crew chiefs with the AAHF Huey Ride program. We did rides in conjunction with the Labor Day race at the Atlanta Motor Speedway and everyone that flew had a great time. I had several people say they had more fun than riding a roller coaster. Malcolm there is a man in England who has a Huey. I saw a video on You Tube.

Red I thought train drivers spent their lives making sure things stay on track - flyin' ain't on a track

Very Happy
