Beautiful work Jimmie!
What color/type of stain and what type of top coat did you use? I love that color

I used a stain called dark walnut made by Cabot. They have been making stain since 1877. Just get a half pint can. It goes a long way. I have probably enough to do 2 more easy. I put clear sealer over it and then the decals and then about 8 coats of clear lacquer. I rub mine out. It is so shiny that you can rub it out in about 10 minutes and then a nice coat if Minn Finishing paste wax. That wax will last forever so get as small a can as you can.Hope this helps.

Here we go again with the transparent stain over natural wood again...Gotta love it...Wood like that was never meant to be covered with anything other than a light stain/color and clear.
