I bought one at the show. Has any 'Rains' owner fitted one to their steel yet?

I put one in my Rains a couple months ago, and could'nt be happier. It took a little fitting but it worked.
You sure did sound great at the convention in St louis Dave, i had a front row seat.

I had to drill 4 holes in the mounting plate and tap them to use the 4 screws that came with my PU. Did you buy your PU through Carter? They send theirs allready mounted to a plate, i could'nt use the plate cause it did'nt leave enough room, but i used their 4 screws, perfect length.

I believe that I read in some of the other postings regarding this pickup that is might be too tall to fit in some guitars.
