Micky,
Hope my note didn't come off snippy cuz it wasn't meant that way. I should have notified sooner.

I read a little of your book while in Dallas this spring and would have got it if I had seen it before I ordered a G5 and a bunch of other "had to haves".

Looking forward to getting it!

Mickey your book arrived downunder yesterday. I just wanted to say thank you here on the forum (as opposed to email), to bump the thread so others can benefit from your expertise if they haven’t already.
After a quick skim through last night, in addition to the exercises this looks to be a great reference book.
As a writer, I am all about working a tune up from noodling about ‘til something clicks. Your book really lays a great foundation for improvisation with an actual understanding of the neck (If I can transfer it into my head and fingers).
Thanks again.

I received the book today...
Very very good! :D
Great contents in a very nice graphic concept.
Although it will keep me busy for a while, I'm looking forwards to see a "vol. 2"!

All my compliments to Mickey & Patricia.

Happy New Year

Very Helpfull, Thanks

I ordered this a couple weeks ago, shipped quickly, I'm very happy.

If you are a beginner, I'd probably get the Winnie Winston/Bill Keith book first. Work on it for a long time. Then get this and work on it for a long time.

For both being "beginner" books, this is more of an intermediate for me. The lessons and exercises are quite different from Winston/Keith and there is sorta a different approach taken.

If you are getting bored with Winston/Keith, this is a nice change that will definitely work out your hands in a different way.

Honestly with this combination I think i have enough to work on for a long time.

Jon
