8-string lap...

Post by Øystein Røysi »

Hi folks!
I am interested in getting an 8 string lap steel. I obviously want the best, but I can't afford that... Image

Seriously, though... I would like something of good quality, but not too expensive. It doesnt have to be vintage, and it doesn't have to have a well-known brand name on it, so I guess that helps a little.

My dream is a Harmos, but realistically I can't afford one, at least not until I win the lottery... Image

To anyone who reads this; Thanks for your patience, and I hope you can help me!

Cheers,
Øystein

I have a demo 8-string LapMaster with 2,Seymour Duncan Stringmaster pickups with blend control, volume and tone pots. It's made of solid swamp ash and has a leather fingerboard. Brass nut and bridge, quality tuners. Oil finish. Sounds great of course.
It is pictured on my Lapdancer site at the bottom of the RedNecks and pickers page. (black pickguard) www.lapdancerguitars.com

Thanks Kevin,
This is a bit difficult, since I've already had a very good offer from Loni. It's also a problem since I can't see any of the guitars before I buy them. However, maybe someone who's not selling could give some objective info here...?

Thanks again!
