I remember hearing this while I was a kid but I don't know the title or the artist. Maybe one of you guys can help me.
The lyrics are:

Sittin' all alone by myself in the easy chair
watchin' TV drinkin' beer in my underwear
telephone rings - get a knock upon the door
run through the house trying to get my sneakers on
went to the door evrybody there was gone
can't find a dime to answer the telephone (now I'm giving away my age)
just let the blame thang ring
