I put a change on my PP lowering the 7th string F# to F. At the 3rd fret it gives you an E7th with strings 7-6-5.

I know that if you slide up to fret 3 with the E-F lever and play strings 8-6-5 you get the same thing.

But if I want to slide back from the A at fret 5 to the E7th at fret 3 I can slide on strings 5&6 and then LOWER string 7 giving me a slide and then a lower making my total move more "steely"

This is on RKL with a 7th string raise 1/2 tone on RKR.

Larry, that's a nice change to have. I use it on my S-12 and lower my 12th string E to C# along with it. When you have your E strings (4 & 8 ) lowered and playing out of E on the 5th fret it gives you a II7 or F#7 chord without moving the bar.......JH in Va.

It is a very good change. I too have used it for years on my U-12. And I have this (equivalent 5th pedal on C6/D10) next to my B pedal. Used together opens up some great possiblities.

In addition I lower the first string to an F with this pedal. They did this on the 5th pedal on the first D-10's before they decided to raise it from G to G# (note: remember everything is one fret lower on a universal.
